Got an interesting note from Lang Marketing this morning that in 2011 miles driven by all types of vehicles fell 1.2 percent. It’s only the fifth time annual miles has declined since World War II.
But don’t worry just yet! It’s still early in 2012 and official mileage figures are not available for January yet. But in 2011 aftermarket product volume rose, despite falling mileage, primarily as a result of the rapidly aging vehicle population.
