Industry Gears Up for Battle Over Dexos

Ran across this great article from Lube Report about the industry consortium that is getting ready to argue its case with the Federal Trade Commission regarding GM and its dexos specification? But with our Operators Survey showing that more than three-quarters of lube shops already carry a dexos-licensed product (and more than half carry a non-licensed motor oil product that meets the dexos specification), has that ship already sailed?
