Oil change companies making headlines this week:

• Jiffy Lube continues to be in the news for its decision to drop 3,000-mile oil change recommendations, generally drawing favorable press. Read more here, here and here (from TIME magazine!).

• Turning an old Walmart Tire & Lube Express into an animal control center. (And yet another Walmart opening sans the once-ubiquitous T&LE center.)
