Interesting article in today’s New York Times (hey, I don’t LIKE reading it, but you have to keep track of all the major news, right) about diesel engine maker Navistar and their decision to eschew DEF for an alternative emissions control technology. It will be interesting to monitor this battle to see where it leads, because if Navistar’s decision is vindicated, it could tempt other diesel engine makers to follow suit, which would put DEF in a precarious position.
