Gregg Easterbrook is one of my favorite columnists, though you’ll only rarely find him published in the mainstream media (unless, of course, you read his weekly football column on ESPN.com). He takes a pragmatic, realistic approach to looking at the nation’s problems; it’s only too bad he’s not running for political office.
I ran across one of his recent columns that discusses the Superfund, and how what was supposed to be a temporary fix has turned into a permanent “tax” on business. Read it and I’m sure you’ll agree that Superfund is just one of many things wrong with our government.
