According to a new article from Lube Report, ExxonMobil is set to join Shell as one of only two companies to officially license products meeting GM’s new dexos specification. This comes on the heels of news that Castrol has joined Valvoline as companies that will offer non-licensed products that meet the dexos spec. Guess that makes GM two for four, with ConocoPhillips, CITGO and Chevron among the majors waiting in the wings.
