Got a call from Mike Shell, owner of Maxi-Lube Inc. in Griffin, Georgia. He was the source for the photo of the lube tech on page 20 of our January issue and wanted us to note the man’s name is Ernest Dockery. Ernest serves as the shop foreman for Griffin’s shop, which has been in business for 21 years and saw a 5,000-gallon increase in their motor oil sales in 2009 compared to 2008.

Shell also noted he opened a second location, a Castrol Premium Lube Express, on January 1 of this year. Sounds like things are cooking for Mike and Ernest and the gang in Georgia!
