Jiffy Lube Car Counts

Saw the other day where car counts (or what’s now being referred to by Jiffy Lube as “customer counts”) were at record lows throughout the Jiffy Lube system in November. No word on what the specific counts were, or the cause. Conjecture centered on the economy paired with lower-than-normal advertising (as many Jiffy Lube franchisees are using some of their advertising budget on re-branding efforts).

We’ve heard anecdotes from other operators that November and December were down, as well. Here’s hoping the economy, and the lube industry in particular, pick back up in coming months!
