Reminder Cards

We were recently asked a question about reminder card data as it applies to our 2009 Fast Lube Operators Survey. Essentially, the questioner wanted to know the ticket average and car counts for those 47 percent of shops that send reminder cards versus those that do not. (We can easily calculate such information, though we generally charge for it!) Anyway, here’s what we found:

Shops that send reminder cards: ticket average – $55.56; car count – 33.7
Shops that do NOT send reminder cards: ticket average – $48.78; car count – 31.2
Interesting numbers that suggest reminder cards still work!
