Black Friday

Tomorrow will likely be a very black Friday for many GM dealerships. According to Automotive News, GM is sending letters to 1,000 dealerships tomorrow telling them their license will not be renewed.

In addition, Chrysler is also expected to try and cut 1,000 dealerships from its nearly 3,200-strong network. Though the NADA and other groups will fight the cuts tooth and nail, with the government and bankruptcy courts on the side of the automakers, expect to see fewer GM and Chrysler dealerships in your neighborhood beginning next year.
