Now that the Obama administration has told GM to take its restructuring plan and restructure it, yet again, the very real threat of bankruptcy hangs over what used to be the largest company in the world. According to reports like this one, GM’s plan to shelve all but its Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac and Buick plans may have to be expanded, with GM hanging onto its core Chevrolet and Cadillac brands and pulling the plug on the others. Wonder how that one would go over with GM dealers?
