Believe it or not. Tom Glenn over at Jobbers World just reported that ConocoPhillips announced a price decrease for finished lubricants, one of the few price drops in recent memory for lubricants. The decrease is slight, about 30 cents per gallon for bulk product, but it’s a step in the right direction, and likely puts pressure on other companies to match the price decrease. That’s good news for an industry slammed by wave after wave of price increases in recent years!
