Ran across this interesting note today. It’s the transcript of a financial results disclosure from Sonic Automotive Holdings, which operates a chain of dealerships (many of which have fast lubes attached). Sounds like SAH had a tough quarter, but it’s interesting to note that their quick lube business was up 34 percent (trust me, that fact is buried in there somewhere). Good news or bad news for traditional fast lubes?
