Smart Car Service

We’ve had questions from a few readers about servicing the tiny new Smart cars. Seems like the engines in these vehicles lack drain plugs, meaning you have to use an evacuation system to remove the oil. Plus, we hear dealers were charging up to $300 in some instances for an oil change on one of these little $12,000 cars. That’s a pretty hefty service price.

Be sure and catch the July issue of NOLN, where we’re scheduled to look at servicing one of these cars in our TechSpec service guide.
