One of the more interesting things I noted while there, though, was the increasing focus by oil companies on their branded programs. Count Castrol among the newcomers to this game with their Premium Lube Express branded program unveiled at the AOCA show. Couple that with strong offerings from CITGO, ConocoPhillips, Mobil, Pennzoil and Valvoline (in alphabetical order) and lube operators have a wide variety of branded programs from which to choose.
