Received a call today from Dave, one of our readers, about the fuel filter article we published in November. We noted in the article that it’s important to change the fuel filter to protect fuel injectors, but Dave said there’s another very important reason to change the fuel filter: the fuel pump. Since most modern fuel pumps are located inside the gas tanks of vehicles, replacing them can be a costly and time-consuming endeavor.
